How to play Old Snakey while reading your Gmail…

Wednesday, June 11th, 2008 by Maxwell

Did you know that you can play Old Snakey, a fun snake-eating-dots game, within Gmail?

Me either. That is, until today.

I thought that it was pretty sweet, so I decided to write a how-to. That way, you too can play Old Snakey.

Old Snakey!

Good luck trying to beat my sweet high score! ;)

Now that I’m pro with CSS…

This website is the first site I ever designed with CSS. That’s why it’s simple.

Since the creation of this website, I have designed a few others, and have gotten pretty good with CSS. Because of this, I’ve been considering maybe redesigning ReviewDesk.com. The only problem with this is time.

You’re probably wondering, “If you’re such a pro at CSS, then why does it take you so much time?” The short answer is: cross-browser compatibility. CSS is rendered differently in different aspects on all the different browsers out there. It sucks. I can make a sweet design that looks super awesome in Firefox in 1-2 days, in my spare time. But then guess what happens when I look at it in Internet Explorer or perhaps even Opera? It looks all stupid.

So, let’s see. Maybe if I can get the motivation to write a few more reviews, I’ll go ahead and take the leap and make a new design. I want to write reviews, I really do, but I’m so busy. It sucks.
