It took a little while, but it was worth it… I think.

Honestly, I’m not sure why peeps be hatin’ on XHTML 1.0 Transitional. I mean, yeah, some aspects of it are supposed to be deprecated, but really, we’re never doing away with the align attribute, nor the target attribute. I don’t think, anyway. A browser maker would have to be straight up stupid to do something like that. Half the pages on the interwebz wouldn’t work right without a browser parsing those attributes, so no one would use it.

I like transitional, but I guess I’ll try to code in XTML Strict from now on. Maybe some day it’ll be worth it.

That’s why it’s simple.

Since the creation of this website, I have designed a few others, and have gotten pretty good with CSS. Because of this, I’ve been considering maybe redesigning ReviewDesk.com. The only problem with this is time.

You’re probably wondering, “If you’re such a pro at CSS, then why does it take you so much time?” The short answer is: cross-browser compatibility. CSS is rendered differently in different aspects on all the different browsers out there. It sucks. I can make a sweet design that looks super awesome in Firefox in 1-2 days, in my spare time. But then guess what happens when I look at it in Internet Explorer or perhaps even Opera? It looks all stupid.

So, let’s see. Maybe if I can get the motivation to write a few more reviews, I’ll go ahead and take the leap and make a new design. I want to write reviews, I really do, but I’m so busy. It sucks.
