While this monitor isn’t my favorite looking one ever, it does provide a lot of inputs that other monitors this size simply don’t. Are the inputs useful? Yes, if you’re into playing any kind of gaming system or like using your monitor as a TV, it’s extremely useful, especially since it’s about as HD as you can get. I do both on my monitor because of my lack of space, so the inputs are pretty cool. The warranty on this thing isn’t great at 1 year (parts and labor), but I guess that’s enough. I would have preferred a 3 year, but who wouldn’t? The price on this monitor is a steep $500 at Best Buy, which seems to be the only place you can get it. Once in awhile, they’ll have it on sale for $400 or less.

This monitor isn’t the most adjustable one in the world, but it truly ain’t bad. You can’t adjust the height, but the bottom of the screen sits at a full five inches from the bottom of the base, which I’ve found to be pretty reasonable. Surprisingly, the build of this monitor is close to rock-solid, which I really didn’t expect in a monitor from a company that makes toasters. The LCM-22W2 features an Auto-Adjust feature to make the screen fit the monitor perfect, and it has a more than adequate viewing angle. What else is more than adequate is its 700:1 contrast ratio, its brightness, and its pixel size of .282mm. With the price of this monitor at $500, I’d say you should look at a different 22in monitor. Though, if you can grab it for under $400, I’d say that it is definitely worth looking into. There is virtually no backlight bleeding (at least in mine) and the picture quality is superb. Having all kinds of inputs is also really handy. The bottom line? $500 = no, under $400 = go. At $500, I’m giving it a 8.9, because it’s no deal at that price. If it could be purchased for, say, $300, then I’d gladly give it a 9.4.

If you have any feedback regarding this review, let me know. Seriously. If you loved it, let me know. Even more importantly, if you hated it, let me know why. Thanks!
