The Noctua 80mm fan did a fine job of cooling my computer. The fan kept my computer case the same temperature as it has ever been, so I can’t say that it does a better job than anything, but it certainly does no worse. I’d imagine that if I had a few more fans in my case, I’d see some better, more conclusive results. The air-moving ability of these fans is, according to the data on the previous page, the best for how quiet they are. They really are quiet, too. The 80mm fan is about as loud as my hard drive without the speed reducing adapters, and almost inaudible with the ULNA. The 120mm fans are both a little less loud than the 80mm fan, and even closer to inaudible with the adapter.

These are probably some of the best fans you can get. They’re not the most powerful fans ever, but they provide the best power to noise ratio that I’ve seen. They don’t come with any instructions, which would be nice to see which way they blow and how they suggest you install them with the rubber things, but not too big of a deal. I also think that they should give you a couple extra rubber things, ’cause they’re not indestructible. They only come in the one color scheme, so they should definitely think about branching out into different colors, because earth tones don’t pair with with everything. Other than those three things, they’re pretty much flawless. Then there’s the price.. they’re currently $17 per fan, which ain’t cheap, and I’m sure you’ll need more than one. Paying $17 per fan for these isn’t horrible, though, because they DO offer a 6 year warranty. If they corrected the issues above and were around $10 each, I’d gladly give them a 10/10. Until then, the score is slightly lower. If you’ve got the money to burn, they look to be pretty much the best you can get without sounding like a vacuum cleaner.
